Associated Security Celebrating 75 Years

2020 marks our 75th year in business!

Founded in 1945 in Manchester, Associated Security started out as Sproston’s, run by John Stanley Sproston. John’s business grew quite rapidly and he became a well-respected member of the security industry. Due to the continued growth, John’s nephew, Roy Turner Sr came aboard in 1952. 1979 saw Roy’s two sons Stephen and Roy join the business to continue with the business development, giving John the opportunity to retire. Stephen and Roy remain active directors to this day.

Over the past 75 years, Associated Security has continually grown and expanded, and with 7 locations across the UK and Ireland, we’ve cemented ourselves as industry leaders, with the ability to offer our high-security products and services to customers throughout not only the UK & Ireland but globally.

Each year our product range is continuing to develop to meet the ever-changing demands of each industry requiring our high-security solutions, and now we’re able to offer an extensive range, from home and business safes, to security doors, perimeter security, access control solutions, vaults, safe deposit boxes and centres and even cash management solutions to name a few.

We employ a 62-strong team of MLA approved engineers strategically based throughout the UK & Ireland, allowing us to offer unrivalled response times, a 96% first-time fix rate, and a 98% attendance rate. Our engineers are supported by our first-class helpdesk, who are available 24/7, 365 days a year and work as the first line of response for our customers.
