UK Safe Manufacturing

In 2013, Associated Security acquired our own UK manufacturing facility through the purchase of SMP Security. In order to construct their exceptional range of secure storage solutions, SMP uses a combination of traditional methods and modern machinery. With their in-house industrial design team, safe engineers and manufacturing team members, SMP Security is able to provide customers with the ideal solution without any delay caused by overseas shipping. Furthermore, with a five-year warranty offered on all of their high-security safes, this reaffirms how certain we are of the quality of these UK-manufactured products.

Having been in the safe manufacturing industry for 45+ years, SMP Security has built an unrivalled reputation
within the industry and amongst its clients. A Made in Britain company, they produce high-quality cash safes to suit both domestic and commercial security requirements.

Investing in innovation

Since SMP joined the Associated Security
Solutions Group there has been a large
investment which has mainly focused around
new machinery, such as CNC machinery which
can be digitally programmed to bend, cut, drill
and tap the metal automatically.

Increasing output and quality

This investment in high-quality equipment reduces the manufacturing time, increasing output without compromising on the quality techniques we’ve used for the past 45+ years to create high-security solutions for both domestic & commercial clients.

Standard and bespoke

Although SMP Security are well respected for their production of Cash Safes to Grade 6 specification, they also manufacture cabinets and strong room doors as well as having the capability to produce any bespoke requirements you may have. All safes produced by SMP Security are designed to meet and exceed the requirements of the European Safe testing as outlined in LPS 1183 Issue 4, as well as the European standard for safes EN 1143-1:2015, tested and certified by the LPCB and manufactured under the control of ISO 9001. With the addition of SMP Security, it now gives Associated Security the ability to provide exceptional solutions through our UK safe manufacturing, to our clients without the need to use any third parties which means we maintain full control of your projects.
